Nowadays, a graphic designer must be resourceful in any of the specific realms in which he might work: packaging, editorial and website design, identity and brand design, advertising and communication. All of this training is given by important professionals who are active in the sector.
The blended MA in Brand Design shares with students the sensibilities required in the everyday work and trade of a graphic designer, combining professional knowledge and academic rigour in a formula for success which boasts the experience of four previous editions of this programme.
The course program will enable the students to create, develop and communicate their graphic design projects, right from the moment of creativity and innovation. The students’ objective is to apply conceptual resources and optimal techniques, playing off graphic parameters such as the shape and colour, and other even more concrete parameters, in the graphic expression of an idea for an image or identity. The spirit of the Master is to transmit the know-how and skills vital for the professional design world through a series of theoretical and practical classes. As part of the academic course all students will prepare an end of course project in a team, making the project a reality. The presentation will be at the end of the course. Selection: based on the student’s Curriculum Vitae, project portfolio and a letter of motivation. For professionals from other fields to be admitted their interest in learning will be evaluated.
