    Master of Fashion Products Management

    The fashion industry is changing rapidly. There is an explosion in the supply of products, types of platforms to design, purchase, produce and sell products, and new players in the industry, such as China and Russia, are quickly joining the sector.

    In an industry that is evolving at such a rapid pace, the Master of Fashion Product Management produces professionals who are able to understand and anticipate the sector in areas regarding creative work, the product and its management, and who can understand increasingly demanding customers, thus offering a winning competitive business model.


    With its mixed format, this degree will allow all students to learn, participate and be part of the IED community in person, in physical and virtual classrooms, and remotely. 

    Goals

    • Learn more about the structure of a fashion company. Understand how to identify its goals and how the strategic decisions of each of its different areas are implemented
    • Gain access to a detailed knowledge of all the specific corporate, commercial and contractual aspects of a fashion company
    • Learn to present and coordinate the planning of an entire production process. Learn to properly manage the order-taking and product purchases phases
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of the different qualities and materials used in the design phase, either for textiles or for accessories. Learn to handle negotiation processes with suppliers
    • Find out about all distribution channels as well as all of their logistical aspects
    • Learn about the ​​business management and sales departments within a fashion company
    • Position yourself as a professional at a company specializing in fashion, being able to respond and adapt to market needs and demands
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of the communication strategies employed by press offices to help with positioning and product sales
