    Postgraduate Course in Footwear Design

Accessories have become objects of desire in their own right and each season stylists and editors look for the must haves. Today, names such as Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin are global reference points in footwear design, both for experts and neophytes.

The designer Blahnik, from the Canary Islands, winner of the National Award for Fashion Design and Honorary Title of the Order of the British Empire for his service to the British fashion industry, achieved international fame thanks to the Manolos, authentic works of art that the protagonist of the series Sex and the City, Lady Gaga and Madonna, to name a few, have worn multiple times. And Choo, a designer of Malay origin who lives in London, has been awarded the Honorary Title of the Order of the British Empire. Princess Diana often wore his designs, which are still coveted by celebrities. The same happens with Louboutin's famous high-heel shoes with red soles, which have been worn by personalities such as Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Dita Von Teese, Blake Lively, Uma Thurman and Christina Aguilera, among many others.
