    Graphic designers today must be versatile in view of the different needs and environments of the current professional situation. To this end, the course aims to introduce students to different disciplines (identity, publishing, digital...) that will allow them to cultivate an extensive knowledge and obtain training about graphic design and visual communication. 
    The Weekend Course in Graphic Design aims to provide students/designers with a current, global and multidisciplinary vision of the practice of design and provide them with the tools needed to navigate the complexity of current graphic design.

    Directors

    Koln Studio

    Daniel Fuente (Palma de Mallorca, 1990) and Pablo Mariné (Madrid, 1990) met while studying their degree at the Madrid Higher School of Design, where they begin to collaborate together on different projects both inside and outside the academic context. In 2014, after working for two years at OMB Design, they decided to create Koln Studio, a graphic design and visual communication studio that takes on projects of different types, placing special attention on the conceptual stage and the typographic treatment.
    Since then, they have worked for clients such as the Madrid City Council, Estrella Galicia, Fotopres “La Caixa” and The Parrots, and they have continued collaborating with Oscar Mariné.
    At the same time, they undertake projects relating to culture, visual art and contemporary photography, such as: Retina Platform, created together with Geray Mena, which has already enjoyed four editions with projections in Paris, London, Amsterdam and Madrid; Aquellos Que Esperan, with exhibitions at CaixaForum in Madrid and Barcelona and at the104 in Paris; as well as various publications for other photographers and artists.
